Projects are how you work with your freelancers. A project can consist of one task with a single freelancer or multiple tasks across many freelancers. For example, if you are creating a single article on a subject by one freelance copywriter, then you would start a single project with a single task. However, if you are producing a short film over several weeks, you could have a single project with several freelancers in different roles working on various tasks over different periods of time.
To create a project:
First, navigate to the Projects tab at the top of the screen.
Next to where you see ‘Projects’, select the '+' icon.
From here you can enter the details for your new project within the form that expands within the page.
Where you see ‘Project State’ you can toggle the project to either ‘Live’ or ‘Draft’. No notifications will be sent out if a Project is in a Draft state.
From there, add Team members to the project & either ‘Create Project’, or ‘Create & Tag Freelancers/Vendors’.
Within the Project view, you can view the Details and Documents by toggling between the tabs. In order to edit the Project details, select the 'Pen' icon (pictured below). To add additional team users to a Project, select the '+' icon (pictured below).
